Company History
PT. Multi Kencana Niagatama was established in 1997 with factory located in Cikande, Indonesia. Since then we have launched the Multi Kabel brand and developed into one of the largest electrical cable manufacturers in Indonesia. In June 2002, we were accredited with ISO 9002 : 1994 for practicing Quality Management System and upgraded to ISO 9001 : 2001 in June 2003.
PT. Multi Kencana Niagatama was established in 10 November 1997 with a factory located in Cikande, Indonesia covering an area of 14 ha. Since then we have grown to become one of the biggest power cable manufacturers in Indonesia.
We were accredited with ISO 9002 : 1994 for practicing Quality Management Systems and upgraded to ISO 9001 : 2001 in June 2003.
Multi Kabel started the development of medium voltage power cable products up to 20 kV to support the 35.000 Megawatt of Government Electrification Program by investing in our 1st CCV Line and PD Shielding Room Testing.
With such exponential growth the company is experiencing, Multi Kabel finally commenced its first high voltage power cable production facility with technical support and cooperation from Finland cable machinery company, Nokia-Maillefer. We become one of few manufacturers who can produce power cables up to 150 kV and continue to be one of the most prominent brand in the market.
We strive to always develop the best quality products for Indonesia and other neighboring countries market in order to further sustain our position as key players in global market.
